Driving along the valley, past Predappio, there is San Zeno and the possibility to reach Rocca San Cassiano, Santa Sofia or Premilcuore. From Premilcuore it is possible to visit the Casentinese Forests.
In less than half an hour you can go to the spa resort place of Castrocaro famous for its thermal waters. Bertinoro , once an ancient archibishop residence, is within easy reach as well as Dovadola which hosts the truffle fair on the 3rd and 4th Sunday in October. Last but not least is Faenza, and its world famous faience production.
The Adriatic Riviera is only 35 km away with its sunny and active resort places: Cervia, Cesenatico , Rimini and Ravenna known all over the word for the splendid Byzantinechurches and the art of mosaic.
